| The production model of the 1999 RX-Evolv Concept is a sleek 4-door GT with rear hinged 'suicide' doors. Styling cues are heavily Mazda RX-7 influenced. Mazda has installed a 1.3L, 2-rotor Wankel engine (250-bhp/153 lb.-ft.) for the Mazda RX-8. A 6-speed Mazda automanual transmission channels power to the rear wheels.
